Real Timber Notification
Each of our products is made using real timber, selected for its natural beauty, warmth and unique character.
As timber is a natural material, variations in grain, texture, knots and finish are to be expected. These characteristics are part of the authentic appearance of handcrafted timber furniture and mean that no two pieces will be exactly alike.
Unlike synthetic or laminated surfaces, real timber does not always achieve a perfectly uniform, mirror-smooth finish. These natural characteristics contribute to the warmth and individuality of each piece.
Important: The ALCOVE is an open-front dog retreat and is not designed for confinement or secure containment.

Customer Reviews
Maddie
Manly, Sydney
The mesh panels make it feel open and airy but still cozy, and the Arctic colour is so fresh in our space. Our dog took to it straight away and it’s been beautifully quiet.
Chris
South Bank, Brisbane
Absolutely love the open-plan vibe, heaps of room without it looking bulky. The hinged doors are super practical and the build feels rock solid.
Tahlia
Scarborough, Perth
Looks amazing and the mesh gives great visibility and airflow. Only dropped a star because it took me a little longer to put together than expected, but the end result is worth it.
Built Better, Finished Beautifully
Premium Hardware & Secure Locks
Small details. Big difference.
Our crates are finished with quality hardware designed to look great and handle everyday use. From the hinges to the locks, every visible detail is chosen to feel sturdy, clean and furniture-like — not flimsy or cage-like.

Each crate is painted in-house, giving us control over the final look and feel. Our painted finishes are designed to suit modern interiors while adding that clean, polished furniture look that sets Paws & Willow apart from standard pet crates.

The finishing touch that makes it furniture.
Our timber tops give each crate warmth, character and a premium furniture feel. They’re not just there to look good — they help your crate become a functional part of your home, whether styled with décor, placed beside the sofa or used as a beautiful feature piece.
